8 Signs That You May Need Physical Therapy now!

Do you need physical therapy? There’s no reason to guess when you have musculoskeletal pain, limited mobility, and altered function that is leading to poor quality of life. Physical therapy may be right for you. Keep in mind that physical therapists are highly trained with doctorate level education. They are experts in relieving pain and improving function.

There are many conditions that physical therapy can help with, however, I will focus on the top 8 reasons that could make a dramatic difference for you in 2019.

  1. Currently on pain medication: Physical therapy is a great alternative to opioid use. In the US, opioid addiction is reaching near epidemic proportions. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends physical therapy as an alternative to opioids with better outcomes and no risk of addiction or side effects.
