Sally A. Caldwell, DPT; joined Mishock Physical Therapy & Associates in January of 2011 as the Director of Physical Therapy at the Phoenixville office. She has practiced physical therapy in the Commonwealth of PA since August 2003.
Sally earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in May 1999, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then obtained a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Slippery Rock University in July 2003. Her clinical rotations included outpatient physical therapy at Tampa Bay Bone & Joint Center, Tampa FL, acute care and medical rehab at Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston WV, and the Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Indiana PA.
Her continuing education coursework has included Kinesio-taping, concussions in high school athletes, the differential diagnosis for complex patients, lumbar assessment & rehab, shoulder assessment & rehab, vestibular rehab, knee assessment and rehab, Graston, cupping, exercise for the older adult. She has also taken part in the clinical instruction of students from Penn State University, Gannon University, Slippery Rock University, Alvernia University, Temple, Harcum College, and Drexel University. In addition, Dr. Caldwell has presented at the Sports Medicine Update Conference at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania for shoulder rehabilitation and stem cell research.
Sally truly enjoys performing manual therapy as an adjunct to treatment in an effort to help her patients return to their highest functional level. Seeing people succeed in a PT program makes her job gratifying and fun.
She currently resides in Limerick, PA with her husband. She loves spending time with her family, and in her spare time she enjoys cooking, traveling, wine tasting, drawing and exercising.
