Maria joined Mishock Physical Therapy in 2011 and enjoys its supportive family atmosphere, working with patients in her community, and opportunities for challenging professional growth. Her career began at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA and continued in various outpatient, Orthopaedic clinics including what is now The Rothman Institute.
Maria is proficient in many areas of Physical Therapy and especially enjoys working with injuries involving the shoulder, knee, and gait/balance deficits. She emphasizes Continuing Education in Lumbosacral Spinal Dysfunction, Fall/Balance Deficits, Advances in Total Joint Replacements and Treating Sports Injuries in the Adolescent population.
Maria attended Immaculata University on a basketball scholarship where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She received her Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 1994.
A 20-year Collegeville resident, Maria lives with her husband and two children. She enjoys going to the gym, walking her dogs, and following her children’s high school sports at Pope John Paul II High School.
