Lauren Kelly grew up in the Lehigh Valley where she graduated top of her class from Emmaus High School. She earned full athletic scholarship to the Division 1 Women’s Soccer program at Temple University where she played for 4 years achieving her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology. Lauren then received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
Lauren has remained in Pennsylvania where her professional career has flourished in the out-patient orthopedic rehabilitation environment. Both in out-patient clinics as well as home care settings working with both young and older patient populations.
Throughout her 17-year career, Lauren has continued to perfect her manual skills through continuing education courses. Some of the techniques she’s proficient in are:
• myofascial release
• active release therapy
• Mulligan PT Concept
• Maitland joint mobilizations
• McKenzie method
• Graston technique
She joined the Mishock PHYSICAL THERAPY team in January of 2020, and can be found at our Boyertown clinic.
Lauren lives in the Limerick area with her 8-year-old son, Aiden and her black lab, Blondie. Her passions include trail hiking, pickle ball, tennis, gardening, and above all, spending time with her son.
Lauren is a true believer in the power of Physical Therapy.
